Administrative Assistant (Bilingual English and Japanese)
Dow Jones is seeking a bilingual (English and Japanese) Administrative Assistant.
Performs administrative duties for the CEO. Responsibilities include screening calls; making travel, meeting and event arrangements.
Attend meetings to help facilitate effective conversations between Japanese speaking and English speaking collages, take notes, and recap meetings as needed
Write department level communication on behalf of CEO in both English and Japanese
Coordinate with outside professionals (advertising, media, legal, medical, etc.)
Calendar management (internal and external meetings)
File and submit all corporate expenses monthly
Ability to communicate fluently (written and verbally) in both English and Japanese
Must have strong verbal and written business communication skills. Ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner at a senior level.
Highly organized with strong attention to recording and recalling details
Proficient in Google and Microsoft programs
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to occasionally travel to Japan
